This is an introductory chemistry course for students with an unusually strong background in chemistry. Knowledge of calculus is recommended. Emphasis is on basic principles of atomic and molecular electronic structure, thermodynamics, acid-base and redox equilibria, chemical kinetics, and catalysis.
