Course Description
Economics is the study of how people allocate resources to maximize returns. Cornell offers a broad range of economics courses through the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the Johnson Graduate School of Management, the College of Human Ecology, and the Department of Applied Economics and Management. Cornell faculty and students have applied economic principles to study the economies of whole continents down to the individual decisions that lead to obesity.
